Callington was once a prosperous wool and mining town, it has great
character and hosts the popular Honey Fair in the Autumn. Horace Warpole
was its Member of Parliament from 1741 to 1754. |

Angling Looe is the centre for shark fishing, and fully equipped boats can be hired. There is good fishing on the Fowey Estuary. Sailing There is good sailing to be had at Looe, Polperro and Fowey. Fowey and Polperro have regattas in Aug, Polperro in mid-July.
